A day in your life at MBB Group:
Providing practical, innovative and tailored solutions to complex problems, to private business and government agencies, across programs and projects.
Underpinning critical processes and optimally informing decision making throughout the project cycle, from strategy, through development, procurement and delivery, to operations. Supporting feasibility studies, business cases, transaction services, development, delivery and operation related services.
Promoting MBB's capabilities and brand to both current and potential clients by producing high quality work, leveraging contacts, networking opportunities, and participation in industry events.
Being an active member of the team mentoring others.
About you:
This opportunity will enable you to add value and gain experience in dynamic environments with a cross-section of professionals being part of a team that develops significant infrastructure projects of a state and national scale.
To be considered you need to show a good combination of the below:
- have 5 - 15 years working in risk management in energy, infrastructure, utilities or mining
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Engineering, Commerce, Law, Business or Risk Management.
- Ideally have some experience using @risk or similar probabilistic simulation software
- Quantitative risk analysis skills and experience highly desirable
- Experience in applying risk management principles and using a risk management software
- Superior stakeholder and client management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking able to work autonomously.
- Strong self-motivation, looking to drive your career.
Selection Process:
Once your application has been reviewed our team will be in contact to advise you of the outcome of your application.
The first step in the process will be a call with one of our People & Culture partners to understand your motivations, experience, and to provide you more context regarding the role and MBB Group.
After this, our interview process usually comprises of two interviews:
First Interview: Face to face or virtual with 2x of our consultants to understand your career and experience in more detail, as well as your technical capabilities and consulting skills. You will also have an opportunity to ask our people questions about working with MBB and what a typical day looks like.
Second Interview: Face to face or virtual with one of our Directors (or higher) to further understand your critical thinking and consulting skills, along with value alignment. (MBB Values found here). You should also use this opportunity to understand the role and MBB in more detail.
Post the interview process you will receive feedback and have a discussion with your People & Culture representative on next steps.
