About the role
Our commercial team focuses on the conceptual development of projects in areas such as delivery case, strategy and policy, helping clients through their decision-making processes and in setting up projects for future success. Our Team is often advising on procurement reform, delivery models, tender management and governance associated with large infrastructure projects. Our work often leads into complex transaction management of infrastructure tenders. Our commercial services cut through complexity and confusion, allowing a clear view of the key issues at the heart of client’s needs, helping them to plan the best path forward.

Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully deliver complex transactions, procurement and advisory services
- Contribute expertise in managing business processes, client relationships, and developing strategies that improve corporate capability.
- Consistently develop consulting capabilities and share knowledge across the business, including thought leadership through learning sessions.
- Deliver a high-quality project management capability and undertake project delivery tasks independently.
- Work in conjunction with management, or with the direction of clients, when operating within integrated project team environments.
- Anticipate and escalate issues with clients and stakeholders through conflict resolution / negotiation, including assisting more junior team members.
- Actively participate in strategy planning to identify business opportunities; and develop plans for converting opportunities to winnable work.
- Provide mentorship to our team by managing junior team members, client relationships, business development and management requests.
- Support the Bids Team in actively undertaking business development by writing proposals / submissions, nurturing, and maintaining external relationships and promoting MBB Group.
- Active participation in team and company activities to support and drive continuous improvement and support a positive working culture.
